Joint Sunday Worship at Belleville in July: 9:30 AM
or 300 High Street Newburyport, outside/rear of church
Our students reading a dedication for congregants prior to delivering food donations
Sunday School is not currently in operation due to lack of enrollment. It can resume when students are available. Bert and Sayer Noyes have provided the following programming as recently as the 2018/19 year.
The program has been for students 3 years old through 6th grade.
Children three years old to Pre-K can be supervised “hands on play”. A large play space in a separate area enables them to build, draw, and look at books while observing older students in class. They may join Opening Worship.
Students K through 5th grade attend Opening Worship, hear and read Bible stories, learn about prayer, and engage in activities and conversations.
Sixth grade through ninth grade students use an adult Bible to look into many aspects of the Christian faith – prayer, discipleship, serving God, and worship. They prepare parts of the lessons taught to younger students.
Snacks have included popcorn, fruit, Sayer’s homemade pretzels, and Middle Eastern food. All ages are encouraged to participate with the congregation in Christmas, Palm Sunday, Easter, and Children’s Day presentations. Donations for mission projects have been collected.
