Welcome to First Parish Church of Newbury. Our church is a member of the United Church of Christ.

We’re a small church with a big difference in that everyone gets a chance to practice ministry here. And we do mean everyone.

What’s your passion? Whether you love music or volunteering, historical preservation or studying God’s word among friends, your gifts and dreams have room to nourish at First Parish. You will definitely have an impact, and you will be impacted for the better. This is a community where lives are transformed by grace.

We’re not consumers here. We’re practitioners. It’s a big difference.

When we consider what following Jesus means, we explore all the implications for how we relate to everyone and everything. That includes God, neighbors, family, friends, enemies, strangers, coworkers, the marginalized, the natural world and the animal kingdom.
