Veal Loaf

Three pounds of clear veal.

Parboil a little, then chop very fine; add six crackers rolled fine, two beaten eggs, butter size of an egg, one tablespoon salt, one teaspoon pepper, one teaspoon sage.

Pour into a bread tin, with small pieces of butter over the top, and bake about one and a half hours.
