Stocking Local School Food Pantries
On Nov. 22nd we started stocking the Triton High School food pantry and will complete it on Monday Nov. 28th.
Today, Nov. 23rd, we completely stocked the food pantry at the Salisbury Elementary School with the help of Shirley and Glen Holt, Kendall Bowie and myself.
These pantries are for the children in the schools to use during school time and to take home as needed. The teachers and nurse at Salisbury will assist the students and the Triton Administrative Assistant will be overseeing the pantry there.
Our plan is to place a pantry in each of the Triton district schools so we still have Triton Middle School, Newbury Elementary and Pine Grove in Rowley.
This is an outreach mission of the First Parish Newbury Food Pantry and we are very excited to part of this new program in helping those in need in our community.
