Kerosene lamps were replaced by electric ones in 1916. The heating system has been changed several times. The Choir Loft has been enlarged. The row of open horse sheds were removed in 1960. A few pews have been removed and recently, a few more.

In 1961-1962, the cellar was excavated and extra space under the sanctuary converted to new and larger working areas. Also, at this time, a new steam heating system and sprinkler system were added. The addition was dedicated September 7th, 1962. The large dining hall was named Holton Hall in loving memory of the Reverend Charles S Holton who had served the parish for 41 years.
