Bird's Nest Pudding

Two eggs, one cup sugar, one cup flour, two tablespoons cold water, one teaspoon baking powder, salt.

Cover bottom of baking dish with sliced apples; pour the mixture over it and bake half an hour in moderate oven.

To be eaten with sauce.
